Q: How old does my child have to be to participate in The First Tee of Phoenix.

A: The First Tee Life Skills Experience contains a nationally recognized character development curriculum. In order for a participant to fully benefit from the program, CORE programming begins begins at age 7 years and older.

Q: Where exactly are The First Tee of Phoenix facilities located?

A: The First Tee of Phoenix has 15 Programming Locations in Maricopa County where classes are offered throughout the year.

Q: How much does The First Tee of Phoenix Membership cost and how much are the classes? 

A: The program has an annual fee of $100.00, which covers all instruction and access to the facility and paid to the facility where you plan on attending classes.  The year is divided into four sessions (no additional fee) which each require registration and also offer an orientation for new members.

Scholarships are available to participants and are awarded on a case-by-case method based on individual need.

Q: Will my child begin at the PLAYer, Par, Birdie, Eagle or ACE Level of Programming?

A: All members begin The First Tee of Phoenix programming in the PLAYer Level regardless of age or golf ability. Members progress through the levels of programming based on ongoing assessments and a certification process where they are tested on their retention of the Life Skills and Golf Ability at the end of each Session of programming.
